Get Organizing. Get Recycling. Get Green.

There are so many creative ideas on 'upcycled' organizers.  I have to admit, I'm really excited to get some of the DIY ideas in my own home!  Sometimes, we just need to know where to start.  Here's some pointers:

Be inspired.  There are so many amazing upcycled ideas.  Take a few minutes to be inspired before getting started.  Know what you want to do and how you'd like to do it.  Click here for a few ideas from our Pinterest board "We Adore Decor"

- Be prepared.  Make sure you have all you need before you get started!  Project (and morale) killer: Having to run up and down and all around to get what you need.

- Start Small.  I always find the sense of accomplishment can lead to greater determination! Pick one cabinet or one drawer. Allot a reasonable amount of time to do a good job.  Dump it (always best to start with a clean slate), wipe it, sort it, purge it, organize it, restock it.

- Focus. Choose one room to work through -- even if it takes a week or a month.  Once you have that euphoric feeling of one organized room, you'll really want to have all your rooms that way!

Quick Tip: If you don't want to spend a fortune on bins, upcycled fruit containers work great for separating small items like hair accessories & craft supplies.

Once I get started, watch out!  Just writing this makes me want to get started!  My kid's closets are currently in the state of 'end-of-the-season-chaos'.
